Here, I’m performing at a ranch in Taos Canyon for a bunch of Bosnian refugee kids... knowing I was from the south, the counselors suggested that I NOT play any "Civil War songs," but I did anyway, and man, did those kids ever get it! I think they really appreciated it... and I let 'em doink around on my instruments afterwards, which they also enjoyed, but which nearly gave the counselors and my wife a heart attack.
